By calculating the rate of hammering and the distance between dots, the velocity of the moving object can be determined.
The kit includes the recording timer, featuring a hammer and platform, ensuring stability with its heavy diecast base and rubber feet, eliminating the need for clamps on the table.
The timer can also be held vertically on a retort stand using the extension rod.
For safety, a knob prevents the timer from falling through the support clamp if it loosens.
Additionally, the kit comes complete with a 30 metre roll of white paper and 25 carbon discs for marking the dots on the paper strip.
