This 3-part honey-bee model, Apis mellifera (A. mellisica) in SOMSO-Plast is enlarged to approximately 25 times natural size.
On the model one leg is removable to show the pollen basket with the collected pollen at the back.
In addition the honey vesicle in connection with a piece of intestine and vesicle of droppings is removable to show the under-lying sting apparatus and the venom bladder.
This model is presented on a stand with green base.
